This Privacy Policy explains how AI Video Genie(“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit www.aividgenie.com or use our Service. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

Account information: name, email address, profile image (via Google Sign-In).
Inputs: the topics, scripts, URLs, voice selections, and project settings you submit when creating videos.
Billing information: name, billing address, and a tokenized payment method. Full card numbers are collected and stored by our billing processor (Chargebee) and the underlying payment gateway, never by us.
Support communications: messages you send us by email or in-app.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Usage data: pages viewed, features used, credits consumed, timestamps, IP address, browser type, referring URL.

2. How we use information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To process your subscription, collect payment, and prevent fraud.
To generate the videos you request, which requires transmitting your Inputs to AI sub-processors listed below.
To communicate with you about your account, security alerts, and product updates (you can opt out of marketing).
To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect rights and safety.

3. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering the Service you purchased), our legitimate interests (operating and improving the Service, preventing fraud), your consent (where required, e.g. non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Sub-processors

We share the minimum data necessary with the following sub-processors to deliver the Service:

Chargebee— subscription billing, invoices, and customer portal.
Stripe(or equivalent gateway) — card processing.
Google Cloud Storage, Amazon S3, Cloudflare— asset and video file storage and delivery.
Neon (Postgres)— primary database.
Upstash Redis— rate limiting and caching.
OpenAI, Anthropic— large language model inference for script generation.
ElevenLabs, OpenAI TTS— text-to-speech.
FAL / Flux, Pexels— image and video assets.
Google OAuth— authentication.
Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity— analytics (subject to your cookie preferences).

5. International transfers

Personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our sub-processors operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

6. Retention

Account and billing records: retained while your account is active and for up to 7 years thereafter to meet tax and accounting obligations.
Generated videos and assets: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure unless legal retention applies.
Server logs: retained for up to 90 days.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell personal data). 8. Security

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported by our providers, scoped IAM roles, and standard authentication best practices. No system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or by an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect.
